How I work

Communication

I have a home studio for portraits or I can come to your home or workplace if you prefer. For individual, family or animal portraits I can suggest outside locations or use one that is special for you.

On the day

Consultation

First we will have a personal consultation to discuss your requirements, generate ideas and agree a plan for the day. I will show you examples of my work and quote you a fixed price for your artwork.

Curation

I will help you select the best images and show you examples of how these will look in print or displayed in your home.

I work on the basis of outcomes and will take as much time as we need to capture the right images. I will also make the experience as relaxed and as much fun as possible.

Today everyone has a smartphone that can take great pictures. We have thousands of digital images that are shared and forgotten in an instant.

I believe that wonderful photographs are meant to be displayed. They should evoke memories and make you smile every time you see them. They come from careful planning, attention to detail and understanding the subject. That is the art of the photographer.

My passion is capturing special moments in a relaxed and enjoyable setting, using my experience and creativity to make artwork that you will want to display, share and treasure for years to come.

Final artwork

I will arrange high quality printing and framing of your chosen images and deliver these to you in person.

My philosophy

Location

I will communicate with you throughout, to confirm arrangements and keep you updated on progress. If we are working outside I will also update you depending on the weather.
